Breakfast and departure to visit Pomposa. In the village of San Vito worth a visit is the Parish Church (Pieve di San Vito), built in 1027, a jewel of the romantic style. Proceeding to Migliarino, the village of the seven towers, cycling through cultivated fields along the ancient bed of the Po di Volano to Codigoro. We suggest to take a look at the Bishop’s Palace. Continue along the cycle path up to Pomposa Abbey, a fascinating Benedictine complex. It was built before the year 1000 on some rises on the bumps among the marshes, the Po and the sea. You can visit the Romanesque style church decorated with friezes and majolica, as well as frescoes and mosaics. The 48-metre-high bell tower dated back to 1063, the Refectory and the Palazzo della Ragione stand out. Few people know that the monk Guido d'Arezzo was the first to code the modern structure of musical notes during his stay in Pomposa. Near the Abbey it is optional (but recommended) to taste the wines of Bosco Eliceo (Wine tasting), ancient sand wines and other typical products. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/farmhouse.

4° day: ( H.B) Pomposa/Volano- Comacchio

Breakfast at the hotel, departure following the cycle path along the Po di Volano embankment or through the reclaimed areas of the Valle Giralda, admiring the naturalistic oasis of Canneviè, the Torre della Finanza on the Volano embankment until reaching Lido di Volano. Continue along the cycle path through the Volano pinewood nature reserve to reach Lido delle Nazioni. The route offers a stretch of wild coastline and views of the sea. From Lido delle Nazioni, crossing the northern Lidi, you reach Porto Garibaldi, one of the ports with the most important fleet in the northern Adriatic for fishing the bluefish. You can taste or buy excellent fresh fish. Thanks to the ferry-boat for pedestrians and bicycles in the canal port, we reach Lido degli Estensi and head towards the Comacchio Lagoon along a stretch of road and then the cycle path. You cannot miss the stop and the panoramic view from the tower on the Logonovo canal. Along the way, surrounded by the water of Valle Fattibello and the Saline, you can enjoy the picturesque spectacle of pink flamingos in flight and other marsh birds. We reach the lagoon village of Comacchio, also known as Little Venice, built on a chain of 13 small islands. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.
