1° Day: (H.B) Pomposa/Volano

Arrival in Volano around 18:00. Meet with our assistant for the delivery of bicycles and tour information. Free time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

2° day: (H.B) Pomposa/Volano - San Basilio

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Lido di Volano, cycling along the edge of the Canneviè Oasis. Our route takes us to the southern part of Bosco della Mesola, then we follow the scenic cycle path towards Goro. After a short stop at the charming port, we continue to Gorino Ferrarese, where you can enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant specializing in fresh seafood. For those interested, there’s also the option of a motorboat excursion through the stunning Po Delta. From here, we ride along the Destra Po, crossing the pontoon bridge to reach Gorino Sullam, then continue along the Sinistra Po to Rivà. The day ends with dinner at a traditional restaurant and an overnight stay at a charming farmhouse.

3° day: (H.B) San Basilio - Pomposa/Volano

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our return journey to Volano. Following the scenic Sinistra Po route, we arrive at Ariano nel Polesine, crossing the bridge over the Po to reach Ariano Ferrarese. The ride continues along the Destra Po towards Mesola, where we’ll admire the majestic Castello Estense, once the summer residence of the Dukes of Este. From here, we venture into the Bosco della Fasanara, visit the historic Torre Abate, and explore the tranquil Bosco della Mesola, stopping briefly for a refreshing snack. The journey wraps up as we ride to Lido Volano and return to the hotel or farmhouse to drop off the bicycles. The day concludes with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.
